At our clinic we often refer our patients to our physiotherapy department, where our qualified staff follow the treatment protocol advised by your Doctor of Chiropractic.

The physiotherapist will, under the chiropractic’s advice, complement your chiropractic treatment with various healing therapies to speed up your complete recovery. Physiotherapy treatment can consists of manual therapy, mobilization, exercise program and the application of our high tech Zimmer equipment, which delivers a combination of ultrasound, electro-stimulation and Electro – Stimulation therapies. Each patient receives the correct therapy related to his or her condition at each stage of healing.

Whether your physiotherapy session takes place before of after your chiropractic treatment, the addition of this treatment assists the rehabilitation process by developing and restoring body systems, in particular the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems, enabling patients to enjoy pain free movement and improved function as soon as possible.

Our physiotherapists treat patients of all ages for a variety of conditions, which may include: injuries and fractures (including sports injuries); muscles, ligaments and joints; post surgical rehabilitation; postural issues, decreased mobility, and neurological conditions.

Treatment involves encouraging the patient to return to normal exercise and mobility by the use of manual and mechanical techniques, such as therapeutic mobility and exercise therapy; various types of massage; manual lymphatic drainage; ultrasound, TENS and electro therapy. Most importantly to many of our patients, the physiotherapists often use our high tech Zimmer system to help reduce your overall pain levels. Patients often find this part of their treatment very relaxing.

If your Doctor has advised or referred you for Physiotherapy alone, you can contact us and we will be happy to assist you with the appropriate treatment plan.
