Lauren Boyd, BSc, MSc. Chiro
Why am I a chiropractor?
I have committed my career to helping people regain their health, vitality and to live life to their full potential. I work with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, seeing both male and female clients.
Our brain and body are in constant communication with each other through our nervous system. Common problems like lower back pain, neck pain or even knee pain, are often due to poor brain to body communication. Using detailed analysis and examination, I decide on the best treatment plan to take care of you and your body. My philosophy is to not only fix the problem but to adjust the cause.
I studied at the Anglo European Chiropractic College where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Human Sciences, followed by a post graduate Masters in Chiropractic. I was awarded a higher achiever’s scholarship for maintaining exam results in the top 15% of every year for five years.
After graduating, I practiced in Jersey, Channel Islands, helping patients regain their health and improving their overall lifestyle . I have since moved back to Dubai, where I grew up, to take the next steps of the journey I had always dreamt of.
I have experience working with amateur and professional athletes, focusing on the longevity of the human body and its ability to perform at the highest level. Working with rugby players, formula one drivers or football players, Lauren has experience in many areas of performance.
Seeking education and further learning, I love to invest my spare time travelling to different locations around the world, attending Chiropractic seminars and always looking to expand her clinical knowledge. I am certified in the treatment of a pregnant patient and paediatric Chiropractic. I have worked with midwives to help breastfeeding mothers and their babies feed more effectively. I remain incredibly passionate about, providing care to mothers and babies, as well as pre and post-natal care
