Tamara Hattab - Chiropractic Dubai at the Emirates European Medical Centre

Why I am a Chiropractor

I was born and raised in Bournemouth, England, into a medical family. This helped to spark my interest in pursuing a career dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life.

I enjoy seeing first-hand how powerful chiropractic can be. I use a variety of techniques in order to help a range of patients, from babies through to the elderly. I am driven to help patients who are no longer able to complete their day-to-day activities or help aspiring athletes to compete at a high-level.

Education

I studied at the AECC University College in the United Kingdom. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Sciences and a Master’s in Chiropractic. I am certified in treating babies and pregnant women, and I have completed a course in Dry Needling, which I find very effective in the treatment of certain conditions.

Experience

After graduating, I started practicing in London, where I treated a variety of ages, helping them to regain mobility and enjoyment of life. I then opened my own Chiropractic clinic in Mudeford, UK, working alongside a CrossFit gym, helping athletes with injuries, and aiding them to achieve their optimum sporting performance.

I was fortunate enough to work closely with Bournemouth University midwives, in the Interdisciplinary Breastfeeding Clinic. There I aided mothers and babies to achieve optimal feeding and checked both mother and baby for any musculoskeletal interferences. As well as treating babies, I enjoy providing care for pregnant women.

I also have experience of working alongside both professional and non-professional athletes. I have treated premier league football players, to people new to sport. As an active individual myself, I fully appreciate the importance of being able to overcome injury or being able to push yourself to achieve goals. My mission is to be part of a patient’s journey, empowering and educating them about the importance of spinal health and body wellbeing.

Interests

I enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle which includes CrossFit, watersports, skiing and hiking. I love to spend time with my family and friends.
