Education

I completed my Masters degree in Community Physiotherapy from Ramaiah Medical College, India. After getting certified in Level 1 and 2 evidence based assessment and management of Pelvic floor dysfunctions and urinary complaints i have helped both males and females with pelvic floor rehab. I hold three original research publications in pelvic floor dysfunction and health promotion.

As a part of my passion for clinical practise around pelvic floor health, I have published two research articles on how to improve the access of physiotherapy services for incontinence and, the potential of physiotherapy in individuals with pelvic floor dysfunctions. They were received well on many national and international platforms.

Why a Pelvic floor Physiotherapist ?

There is overwhelming gap which exists between the prevalence of various pelvic floor dysfunctions and awareness about physiotherapy as first line management. Since early time in my career i was focused on improving awareness of pelvic floor health and helping both male and females for various pelvic floor dysfunctions.

As a part of my clinical practise i have been designing Pelvic floor rehabilitation as a comprehensive program of exercise to improve pelvic floor muscle strength, endurance, power, relaxation or a combination of these.

I am adept at “Listening” to my clients and this has helped me treat them as individuals with conditions rather than just treating the disease.
